Northpine Automation, owned by Curtis Mei, Ontario, Canada.
Last updated: October 25, 2026.

We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Who is responsible

Curtis Mei is responsible for privacy at Northpine Automation. Contact: info@northpineautomation.com.

What we collect

  • Your name, business name and email address.

  • Your questionnaire answers about your business, tools, tasks and goals.

  • Emails you send us.

  • Payment details, which are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

Why we collect it

To deliver what you bought, answer your questions, send receipts, and keep business and tax records. We collect only what we need for those purposes.

Consent

By paying and filling in the questionnaire, you consent to this use. You can withdraw consent any time by email, but we may then be unable to deliver the service.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers we use to run the business:

  • Stripe for payments.

  • Google (Google Forms and email) for the questionnaire and email.

These providers may store data outside Canada, such as in the United States, where local laws may let authorities access it.

AI tools

We may use AI tools to help write your materials. We remove names and other details that identify you or your clients where we can, and we never enter anything you list as off limits in the questionnaire.

How long we keep it

We keep client records for up to 7 years for tax purposes, then delete them. You can ask us to delete other information sooner.

Safeguards

We use password protected accounts with two-step sign in and limit access to the owner.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information by emailing info@northpineautomation.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Breaches

If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will tell you and the Privacy Commissioner as PIPEDA requires.

Changes

We will post any changes on this page with a new date.
